Crosswalk
This is an image of a crossswalk. At one end of the crosswalk is a sidewalk at a traditional corner. At the opposite end of the crosswalk is an extended curb, which is the only painted pedestrian area on the roadway. Blind pedestrians crossing the avenue have no way of detecting the extended curb because there is no tactile information.
